Both pumping runs were measured up to the same pressure of 5.8 atm. In the conclusions of the act, the output gain and the electricity saving are stated as 9.3 %.

Conclusions of the act

The conclusions of the act dated 20 August 1998 state: «Treatment by XADO technology made it possible to reduce the compressor pumping time by 40 s., which accordingly increased its output by 9.3% (electricity saving of 9.3%). Noise dropped to a permissible level. Vibration and overheating disappeared.» Before treatment the compressor ran with considerable noise and vibration and was overheating — a unit in such condition is normally sent for repair with disassembly. Here it was neither removed nor opened up: the compound was introduced directly into the running machine, and the laundry worked as usual for ten days. According to the measurement table of the same act, receiver pumping to 5.8 atm: 9 min 45 s9 min 05 s, that is 7.3 % of output gain — the compressor now delivers the same amount of air in less time and on less electricity.

The results apply to the laundry piston compressor of Khladoprom CJSC treated under normal operating conditions; on other units and duty modes the figures may differ.
