Measurements were taken at the gearbox before the product was added and again after ≈110 h of machine operation; the unit was not disassembled during this period.

Conclusion of the plant commission

The commission of JSC MZKRS recorded a reduction of the noise level in the gearbox of the cylindrical grinding machine from 75 dB to 63 dB. The grinder operator noticed a marked reduction by ear after just 40 h of operation; the instrument measurement was taken after 110 h. The unit was not opened and no parts were replaced: the revitalizant gel was added to the lubrication system of the machine, which stayed in shop operation. Conclusion of the report: "the positive results achieved demonstrate the effectiveness of using the revitalizant gel of the XADO company on metal-cutting equipment".

The results apply to the gearbox of the Jones-Shipman cylindrical grinding machine under the conditions of the machine shop at JSC MZKRS; on other equipment and under different operating modes the figures may differ. The original report with signatures and seal is published in full and available for download.
