What the record documents

Under contract No. 79 of 10.08.2000, XADO LLC specialists carried out a restorative repair of a KT-6 type compressor using XADO technology. The check measurement of 08.09.2000 was made with the same plant instruments as the measurement before the work: the time for the system to reach the working pressure of 7.9 atm fell from 23 min 05 s to 20 min 00 s. That is 15.4 % of added output — over a shift the compressor delivers appreciably more air for the same running time. The second result is a 20 % reduction in oil consumption: in a reciprocating compressor oil burn-off is directly linked to the condition of the cylinder-piston group, and its drop indicates restored sealing — the same cause behind the increased delivery. The result was accepted by a record bearing the signatures and seals of both parties.

The results relate to the KT-6 type compressor operated by Rogan Company LLC; on other units and duty cycles the figures may differ. The measurements and the record were drawn up jointly by the customer and the contractor, XADO LLC. The original record of 11.09.2000 with signatures and seals is published in full and available for download.
