All driveline units were treated with XADO revitalizant gel for gearboxes and final drives, the engine — with the gel for petrol engines, without disassembling the units.

What the report records

At an odometer reading of 91665 km the commission recorded: gearbox — precise gear engagement, noise gone; transfer case — noise and vibration gone; front and rear axle — noise gone; engine — noise and vibration decreased, engine traction and throttle response improved, oil pressure and idle speed rose, compression across the cylinders after treatment: 11.4 | 11.5 | 11.5 | 11. In a separate entry dated 20.12.2002: an additional treatment of the rear axle with the gel for gearboxes and final drives was carried out, the noise at 40-60 km/h disappeared. Before the treatment the 3rd and 5th gears jumped out while driving, and the most worn cylinder held 9 against 10 on the others — that cylinder gave the largest gain: the restored sealing brought all cylinders up to one level, and with it traction and smooth engine running returned.
