The current dropped while output rose at the same time — the drive overcomes less resistance in the compressor's friction assemblies.

Conclusion

Compressor AU 200 No. 9 of the compressor shop of CJSC MKF underwent restorative repair using XADO Technology® under contract No. 15U. Measurements were taken on one and the same unit before and after treatment. Output rose: the measurement time fell from 11 to 6 s. The phase current of the drive electric motor dropped from 110 to 90 A, and oil consumption from 15 to 7 l. Their combination is what matters: the compressor began delivering more while drawing less current — a direct sign of reduced friction losses in its assemblies. The whole cycle, from the contract of 19.01.2001 to the signing of the certificate on 08.02.2001, took 20 days. The certificate was approved by the Acting Chief Engineer of CJSC MKF and signed by the head of the compressor shop, the chief power engineer and a representative of the contractor.

The results relate to compressor AU 200 No. 9 of the compressor shop of CJSC MKF and to its operating conditions; on other units and duty cycles the figures may differ.
