| MACHINE AND UNIT | MILEAGE AT TEST START | WHAT WAS MEASURED |
|---|---|---|
| UAZ-69, reg. no. RV 1344 VV — engine, 4 cylinders | 126,000 km | Compression in each of the four cylinders; CO and CH in the exhaust gases |
| Same vehicle — gearbox | 126,000 km | In-service assessment: noise, gear engagement |
Engine compression by cylinder
| CYLINDER | BEFORE TREATMENT, ATM | AFTER, ATM | GAIN, ATM |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | 7.5 | 8.0 | +0.5 |
| II | 7.5 | 8.0 | +0.5 |
| III | 8.0 | 9.0 | +1.0 |
| IV | 8.0 | 9.0 | +1.0 |
Compression rose in all four cylinders. The gain is capped by the engine's factory nominal: compression cannot rise above it.
Exhaust gas toxicity
| PARAMETER | BEFORE TREATMENT | AFTER | CHANGE |
|---|---|---|---|
| CO, % in exhaust | 6.58 % | 3.75 % | −43 % |
| CH, ppm | 375 ppm | 187 ppm | −50 % |
The exhaust gas measurement was carried out and certified with its own stamp by an outside contractor — "FORD" auto service, B. Yordanov.
Protocol conclusions
The commission of Elektrorazpredelenie EAD, Plovdiv, together with "MAY" OOD recorded the following results of the treatment by XADO technology: 1. Compression in the cylinders increased by 8 % on average. 2. Emission of toxic substances in the exhaust dropped by 43 – 50 %. 3. Gearbox performance improved: the noise in operation disappeared, the gears became easier to engage. The vehicle came to the treatment with 126,000 km on the odometer, and after only 2,680 km of normal service the compression had risen in all four cylinders, while the CO and CH content in the exhaust gases fell roughly by half. The engine and the gearbox were neither disassembled nor repaired: the result was obtained on machinery that kept working every day.
The results relate to the petrol engine and the gearbox of a UAZ-69 vehicle with 126,000 km on the odometer, operated by Elektrorazpredelenie EAD, Plovdiv; on other machinery and under other duty cycles the figures may differ. The original of protocol no. 0208 of 13.08.2002 with signatures and stamps is published in full and available for download.
