The technical report of the Fili electric depot of the Moscow Metro states: "Restoration of the geometry of worn parts has been performed". The compressor arrived for treatment worn, and the coating grown on the friction surfaces returned the cylinders to their geometry — hence everything else: the current draw fell from 8.3 to 7.9 A, and the reservoir charging time from 2 min 32 s to 1 min 52 s, "which corresponds to: a 5% reduction in power consumption and an increase in output of 36%". The measurements were taken ahead of time: the compressor "had run 280 engine hours instead of the 350 required", and the report concludes — "Consequently the effect of applying XADO technology will be improved".
