Reduction gear of a mine hoisting machine

The largest oil bath among the reduction gears analysed — 1400 litres. The dosage is calculated for the whole bath at once.

Reduction gear of a mine hoisting machine drive: 1400 L oil bath, MS-20 oil

The class norm is 3.0 mL per litre. In this method the calculation is made at 2.0 mL/L; the document itself contains a discrepancy — 1950 mL against its own formula 1400 × 2 = 2800 mL, so the figure must be checked against the original before use. Industrial reducers and transmissions →

Treatment stages

  1. Dilute the gel in standard oil heated to 40–60 °C (1 part gel to 5–10 parts oil) and introduce it with the equipment stopped, through the hatch or the oil filler opening.Start of the operating time count
  2. The second stage is performed in the same way as the first. After 8–12 hours of total operating time
  3. The third stage is performed in the same way as the first. After a further 8–12 hours
