Crawler construction crane

The entire machine is treated, not a single unit: oil-filled gearboxes with gel, couplings and the slewing mechanism with grease. The crane's service life is over 20 years, wear up to 90 %.

Crawler construction crane: 7 gearboxes, 5 gear couplings and the slewing mechanism

The class norm is 3.0 ml per litre in three stages. Here the engineer prescribed a single application of 9.0 ml/l: the crane's gearboxes have no oil filtration, and there is no point in splitting the dose. Industrial reducers and transmissions →

Treatment stages

  1. Dilute the gel in oil at 40–50 °C and add to the gearboxes in a single application; fill the couplings and the slewing mechanism with "Repair" grease.Single application
