TRUNINGER 5-Н2-40/3-Н3-11,5L hydraulic pump
Dual-flow pump: 40 L/min at 200 bar and 11.5 L/min at 300 bar. Each flow is measured separately.
TRUNINGER 5-Н2-40/3-Н3-11,5L dual-flow gear hydraulic pump: test-bench restoration
The class standard is 0.6 ml per litre; on the bench 1.0 ml/L in 3 stages was assigned. Hydraulic systems of industrial equipment →
What is treated
- A serviceable gear hydraulic pump with no parts worn 100 % and no severe mechanical damage.
- Treatment is worthwhile when limiting wear is no more than 80 % — that is, when volumetric efficiency has dropped by no more than 20 %.
What is measured before and after
| Parameter | Instrument | How and when |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery of each flow | flow meter | At fixed pressure and fluid temperature. |
| Maximum pressure of each flow | pressure gauge | At fixed delivery and temperature. |
| Power consumption or electric motor current | clamp meter, wattmeter | At minimum and rated pressure. |
| Pump housing vibration level | vibrometer | At specified points. |
| Interim measurements every 25 hours of operation | the same set | — |
Dosage rates
| Compound | Rate | How and when |
|---|---|---|
| Gel for power steering | 1.0 ml per 1 litre of oil per stage | A 100 L tank: 100 ml per stage, 300 ml for three stages. |
Treatment stages
- Add the gel to the bench oil tank; run for the first hour at 50 % of maximum pressure, then raise to 70–85 %.Start of the operating-hours count
- The second stage is the same as the first. Not earlier than after 8 hours of operation
- The third stage is the same as the first. After another 8 hours
After treatment
- The full cycle is 400 hours or more, depending on the initial wear.
- Treatment may be stopped once the parameters have reached their rated values: it will be completed at the regular workplace.
Points to watch
- Pressure loading of 70–85 % of maximum is mandatory throughout the cycle; the first hour at 50 %, then a gradual rise.
- Working fluid temperature 50–70 °C.
- Working fluid leaks on the bench are not allowed.
- Bench requirements: a 1450 rpm drive of no less than the operating power, a tank of at least 100 L, pressure gauges with a scale division no coarser than 1 kg/cm² and a range from 400 kg/cm².
