IE A016TWO TECHNICAL REPORTS ON ENGINE PARAMETER MEASUREMENTS · DECEMBER 2000 — FEBRUARY 2001
KAMAZ and MAZ engines: fuel consumption fell on both fleet trucks
On both machines the engine ran longer on the same dose of fuel, hourly consumption dropped. 75–82 s — engine running time on a 500 g fuel dose, 6 min 10 s – 6 min 30 s → 7 min 25 s – 7 min 52 s (2001).

| VEHICLE | REG. NUMBER | UNIT | WHAT WAS MEASURED | REPORT DATE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KAMAZ truck | 03-08 KhA | internal combustion engine | fuel consumption | 06.02.2001 |
| MAZ truck | 58–84 KhAKh | internal combustion engine | fuel consumption | 06.02.2001 |
Engine running time on a single fuel dose — 500 g, 1000 rpm, 40 °C
| VEHICLE | BEFORE TREATMENT | AFTER TREATMENT | CHANGE | ECONOMIC EFFECT PER REPORT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KAMAZ, reg. no. 03-08 KhA | 6 min 30 s | 7 min 52 s | +1 min 22 s | 21.02 % |
| MAZ, reg. no. 58-84 KhAKh | 6 min 10 s | 7 min 25 s | +1 min 15 s | 20.27 % |
Timing was taken on a measured dose of 500 g of fuel at 1000 rpm and a temperature of 40 °C — the method was identical on both vehicles; the last column is quoted from the conclusions of the reports themselves.
